Treatment settings across our service area
Addiction and behavioral health treatment takes several forms across the regions Sage Commercial Cleaning serves. Residential programs run around the clock, with residents on a structured daily schedule of individual and group sessions. Outpatient and intensive outpatient programs lease suites in medical office buildings, and recovery residences sit on ordinary residential streets from Elk Grove to San Jose.
Each of those buildings is a temporary home for someone, or a place where difficult conversations happen every day. A clean, calm building supports that work. Our crews keep the facility fresh without becoming a distraction, and the cleaning plan is written around your program rather than ours.
Resident rooms, showers and shared living space
Resident bedrooms are cleaned on the schedule your staff sets. Hard surfaces and furniture are wiped, floors are vacuumed or damp-mopped, wastebaskets are emptied, and personal belongings stay exactly where residents left them. When a resident discharges, the room gets a full turnover: vinyl mattress covers, bed frames, closets, drawers, window sills and the floor are detailed so the next arrival walks into a room that feels new.
Shared restrooms and shower rooms take the most effort in a residential program. Fixtures, partitions, shower walls and floors are scrubbed, drains are cleared of buildup, mirrors are polished and dispensers are refilled. Lounges, TV rooms and quiet rooms get dusting, upholstery spot care and floor work that keeps them comfortable for the evening.
Group rooms, dining areas and offices
Group and therapy rooms are reset after the day’s sessions. Chairs are straightened, tables and whiteboards wiped, tissue boxes and wastebaskets handled, and carpet vacuumed so the morning group begins in an orderly room. Rooms used for family visits get the same attention before visiting hours begin.
Dining rooms and resident kitchenettes are cleaned after the last meal. Tables, chairs, counters, microwaves, refrigerator handles and the floor are cleaned, and the trash leaves the building before it can sour overnight. Admissions offices, staff offices, lobbies and visitor waiting areas receive regular office care, with extra attention at the front entrance, where families form their first impression of your program.
Your protocol sets the routine
Treatment facilities work from written infection-prevention and housekeeping procedures, and we build the cleaning schedule from yours: the products, the color-coded cloths and the room sequence your team specifies. When you book a terminal clean after an illness or a discharge, the crew works top to bottom through every surface in the room and leaves it ready for your staff to check.
Disinfecting is done with EPA-registered products, and each one sits on the surface for the full dwell period its label calls for before it is wiped away. Every crew member completes bloodborne-pathogen safety instruction, and our people follow HIPAA-aware conduct: charts, schedules and paperwork on desks stay untouched and unread, and anything overheard in a hallway goes no further.
Programs that share a building with medical suites can combine this plan with our medical facility cleaning, and on-request touchpoint work is described on the disinfection and sanitizing page.
A quiet presence on your program’s clock
Residents and clients deserve privacy and calm. Crews work around group times, meals and quiet hours, knock and announce themselves before entering occupied rooms, and keep conversation short and professional. A daytime visit while residents are in sessions plus a light evening touch-up suits a residential program, while outpatient suites are cleaned after the final appointment of the day.
Before the first visit, crews are briefed on your house rules, restricted areas and the hours each room is in use. Every crew member is background-checked, and a supervisor walks the facility on quality inspections and reviews the results with your program director.
Floors, carpet and periodic work
Hallways and dining rooms in residential programs take steady foot traffic. Vinyl corridors can be stripped and refinished on a periodic cycle through commercial floor care, and carpeted lounges and group rooms get hot-water extraction on days that suit the program. Restroom fixtures and grout can join a periodic restroom deep cleaning plan.
Every facility is priced after a walkthrough, not from a list rate. The number of resident rooms, how many restrooms and showers the building has, daytime or evening visits, how often you book terminal cleans and the floor care cycle all set the monthly figure. Once we have toured the building at an hour your program picks, you receive a written quote listing each room and task. Request a walkthrough to get started.
A few useful answers
Common questions.
Can cleaning happen while residents are in the building?
Yes. Crews work around group sessions, meals and quiet hours, knock before entering occupied rooms and keep a low profile in shared spaces.
Will you follow our facility's infection-prevention procedures?
Yes. Your written procedures set the products, the room order and the frequency, and terminal cleaning is added whenever you book it.
What keeps resident information private during cleaning?
Our crews follow HIPAA-aware conduct: paperwork, screens and personal items are left alone, and nothing seen or heard on site is discussed.
Can you turn over a room between residents?
Yes. A discharge turnover covers furniture, closets, drawers, sills, fixtures and floors so the room is ready for the next admission.
